For anyone that has dabbled in building their own DVR hardware or is thinking of doing so then AllDVRNews recommends this DIY DVR Wiki..

The DIY DVR Wiki site makes a great resource for guides, tips and tutorials on creating your own DVR player. If you are thinking of building a DVR then this site should be central to your efforts as it has links to complete guides that are posted all over the internet. It will save you a lot of time searching for DIY DVR sites on Google. The site is run by a community of DIY DVR building enthusiasts.

For those of you who are not familiar with what a Wiki is:
A wiki site is basically a site built by a community of enthusiasts. Anyone can join up to the site and contribute. The site is moderated by the community ensuring that anything posted on the site is factual, correct and not spam.
