SYS Technologies New CCTV DVR Technology

SYS Technologies recently announced its the latest version of its DVR software. The Marathon DVR software is part of the cVideo DVR software family which is used in CCTV video surveillance, integrated security systems, and loss prevention solutions of government and industrial applications.

Version 6 of the Marathon CCTV DVR technology comes with a variety of features including the ability to perform efficient searches for relevant video using visual thumbnails, scheduled black and white camera mode, individual camera settings (hue, contrast , brightness), ability to record video in a bandwidth efficient manner with CODEC bandwidth enhancements, spot monitor support and video intelligence enhancement. The whole DVR system runs on an embedded XP environment.

The Marathon surveillance software appears to be a very robust system on paper and the new features will benefit any surveillance and security system built on the previous software release.
