TiVO MAC Universal Binary Desktop Software

TiVo recently released a Universal Binary of their desktop software for the MAC operating system. The new version is 1.9.3 and does not really bring any missed features such as TiVoToGo but is definitely great news for Mac users and shows TiVo's support for the operating system.

A universal binary version of the TiVo desktop DVR software will allow the program to run on old Power PC processors or the new Intel processors that are currently built into the new MacBook Pro and iMac. Without the Universal binary feature the software would not run efficiently with these processors.
