TiVo Blockbuster Partnership

TiVo seem to be starting partnerships and joint ventures left right and center. They have had deals with Yahoo, Brightcove, the extension to their DirecTV partnership among many more. The latest TiVo partnership is with Blockbuster in a cross marketing arrangement.

The new partnership will create a joint subscription with TiVo and Blockbuster giving you Blockbuster online DVD rentals where you can rent up to 3 movies at a time and access over 50,000 titles. Shipping is free both ways and there are no return dates, additionally you get a free in store movie rental each week. If you cancel the Blockbuster part of the subscription you will revert to the regular TiVo package at $19.99 a month.
