New: 180 HR Dual Tuning Series 2 TiVo

We recently reported on the new Dual Tuning Series 2 DVRs from TiVo. Last month they released the 80 hour recording model at $99.99. TiVo have now launched the 180 HR Dual Tuning Series 2 TiVo which boasts up to 180 hours of recording space.

The new 180 HR Dual Tuning Series 2 TiVo is available for $130 from TiVo when you enter into a yearly contact. The downside of the Dual Tuning Series 2 TiVo DVRs is that you cannot record two digital cable box signals at the same time. This is best used by people who have analog cable as two analog cable channels can be recorded at the same time. Unfortunately you cannot record from a standard antenna as a NTSC OTA tuner is not included in this TiVo DVR.
